Isis, ebola and feminicide, 240.000 tweets: sadly these are the most talked topics on the World Wide Web in these days, with the fear of what they represent and, together, the hope to exorcise the danger. The threat launched by ISIS to the Occident is the main topic around which most of the posts are written by the community, especially in social networks; citizens from all around the world are expressing their terror and their position in this delicate and full of tension scenario. Users’ indignation, especially after the barbaric killings disclosed by the ISIS representatives, was very felt and they strongly expressed their absolutely adverse opionion about, and their approval to the American forces intervention.
In only 2 days of monitoring were collected a large number of posts (96454 tweets). Not only: unfortunately, the news reports speak also about further violence episodes like feminicide and pedophilia. But to worry about there are also events not directly related with human extreme actions: ebola and climatic change are between the most talked topics on social networks, scoring for now respectively 32200 and 114.000 tweets.
