This year was the second edition of Taste of Italy, the greatest made in Italy food&beverage event presented by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas, which, once again, took place in Houston. The main intent of the festival is to promote Italian typical and authentic products through meetings and tastings. Over 60 wine-producing companies and 50 food producers with more than 500 products joined the two days event, during the 2nd and 3rd of March, and met potential buyers from Texas and other States (California, Illinois, Florida, etc.), distributors and importers, together with the press and food bloggers. The fair gathered agro-industrial Italian companies and gave them the chance to present their products to potential buyers from the US. The participants were allowed to attend to the Livestock Rodeo Show 2016 in Houston and were given a stand for the exposition of their products in the Trade Show that took place the 3rd March.

Photostream picked up and made public all the photos shared by Twitter and Instagram users during the event, with the hashtag #tasteofitalyhouston or mentioning the official account @tasteofitalytx. The analysis showed that 43 users shared 223 pictures, with a sharing peak during March 3rd. Among the most active users on Twitter we can find @AperitivoAustin, @MyVinoRules e @TasteOfItalyTX, whereas on Instagram tasteofitalyhouston, photostreamlive e travaglinovini.
